## Acid on the Chains ### पैरों पर तेज़ाब डालने वाली औरतें #Poetry ![[Pub-acid-on-the-chains.webp]] औरत के आँसू आँखो से उतरकर रुखसार पर आते हैं फिर गर्दन, छाती और पेट पर चलते हुए... कमर से उतरकर पैरों पर ठहर जाते हैं लेकिन तब तक आँसुओं की तासीर बदल चुकी होती है ये आँसू औरत के पैरों में गोंद की तरह चिपक जाते हैं वो गोंद जो उड़ने नहीं देता सोचने समझने नहीं देता फिर भी हार मानकर बैठी भीड़ में मैंने कुछ औरतों को देखा है **जो अपने पैरों पर तेज़ाब डालने से नहीं डरतीं**   ##### Context Note Tears travel downward and harden into chains. This poem is about the women who dissolve those chains with the acid of their own fearlessness. 2017-03-08 %% Tears are chains for women & they need to dissolve these chains with the acid of their confidence.
