पानी पर नाचे चांदनी

सिंदूरी हो
तुम पर चढ़ा दूं

This poem focuses on the concept of complete surrender and merging with a loved one, drawing parallels with the natural world. The imagery of the moon's reflection dancing on water and the sunset painting the sky evokes a sense of transient beauty and the desire to become part of something larger than oneself.
The speaker expresses a longing to offer their essence, their "work," to the beloved, fulfilling a wish to "die in you." This isn't a literal death wish, but rather a metaphorical yearning to dissolve the boundaries of self and experience ultimate union. It's about leaving behind one's purity and individuality as a gift of love. The poem captures the Sufi-like feeling of losing oneself in devotion, mirroring the way the moon's reflection dances on the water's surface. The "love marks of sun" on the evening sky further emphasize the beauty and passion inherent in this act of self-surrender.
