समंदर किनारे टंगी चूड़ियों से
लहरें गुज़रती हैं कलाई की तरह
पास आना.. दूर जाना.. बनना.. मिट जाना
पहन लो रिश्तों को… सच्चाई की तरह

"Waves & Colorful Bangles" is a concise poem that draws a parallel between the movement of ocean waves through bangles and the nature of human relationships. The poem uses the imagery of waves passing through bangles hanging by the sea to represent the way relationships touch our lives – sometimes coming close, sometimes drifting away, constantly forming and dissolving.
The poet encourages the reader to "wear" these relationships with the same authenticity and acceptance as one would wear bangles. The poem suggests embracing the transient nature of connections, understanding that they touch us from various "angles," much like the waves interacting with the bangles. The concluding lines, "Wear them… Light some candles," evoke a sense of cherishing these connections and perhaps celebrating them, even in their impermanence. The poem, rooted in a specific location (Mumbai, India), uses universal symbols to explore themes of connection, impermanence, and acceptance.
